How To Get a Good Kindle Book Cover?

Your cover plays a huge factor in whether your Kindle book will succeed or fail. Because of this, it’s VERY crucial and important that you have a good cover! There are a few ways to get a nice cover for your book without having to pay someone hundreds of dollars.

Method #1: (FREE)
This method involves some work on your part. You will have to add the text to the cover, and that is all. As for the picture, you can either hope to find a copyright-free one on Google images, or buy one. To find a free one, go to Google Images. Then, select advanced search and at the bottom, next to usage rights, select “free for reuse, even commercially.” Then you search. All the pictures you see can be legally used and are free!

If you want to buy a picture, you can go to a stock image website, such as iStockPhoto. On there, search a keyword related to your book. Find a fitting image, and buy it so that you can legally use it.

Once you get an image, open up your image editing software. On PC’s, you can use “Paint”, which is a built in program. Open it up, add in the image, choose a find and a good color, and place the title, subtitle, and author name onto the image. Now, you have a nice book cover!

METHOD #2: ($5)
This method is faster, easier, and often has better results. Go to the website “”. Once on the website, search for “eBook Cover”. On this website, you can get almost any service done for $5. Look through the results, find a good offer with good example photos, and buy it. Then you have a custom Kindle book cover for $5.
